WHO WE ARE
WE ARE LOVE MARY
At Love Mary, we believe every child is created in God’s image with incredible worth and potential. Yet for millions around the world, poverty steals away opportunity, education, and hope. Our mission is simple but powerful: to break the cycle of poverty through faith, education, and compassionate action.
We are a Christian missionary movement dedicated to ending child poverty globally. Rooted in the love of Christ, we work hand-in-hand with local churches, communities, and supporters to provide children with access to education, safety, spiritual guidance, and the resources they need to thrive.
Our heart is not only to meet immediate needs but to transform futures. By empowering children today, we impact families tomorrow, and entire generations for years to come. With faith as our foundation, we believe that lives can be restored, communities strengthened, and hope reborn.
Love Mary exists to be a light in dark places, carrying the message of God’s love and putting it into action. Together, with your partnership and prayers, we can change lives—one child at a time.
Charity Without Measure: Mary’s Example for Us
Love for God and love for neighbour are inseparable, bound together in the same commandment: “And this commandment we have from Him, that he who loves God must also love his brother.” (1 John 4:21) St. Thomas Aquinas explains that whoever truly loves God will also love all that God loves. In the same spirit, St. Catherine of Genoa once said: “Lord, You command me to love my neighbour, but my heart is drawn only to You.” God answered her: “All who love Me, love what I love.” And since no one has ever loved God as perfectly as Mary did, no one has ever loved their neighbour with greater charity than she.
Father Cornelius à Lapide, commenting on the Canticles (3:9), reflects that Solomon’s “litter” made of the wood of Lebanon points to Mary’s womb, filled with charity for the daughters of Jerusalem. For within her dwelt Christ Himself, who is Love incarnate, inspiring her with perfect charity so that she might come to the aid of all who seek her help.
Mary’s charity on earth was so great that she often intervened before being asked. At Cana, she interceded for the family’s need with the simple words: “They have no wine” (John 2:3). In haste, she travelled into the hill country to serve Elizabeth (Luke 1:39), eager to give of herself where charity was needed. Above all, her supreme act of love was offering her own Son for our salvation. St. Bonaventure writes: “Mary so loved the world as to give her only-begotten Son.” St. Anselm adds: “O blessed among women, your purity surpasses the angels, and your compassion surpasses the saints.”
Nor has Mary’s charity diminished now that she reigns in Heaven; it has only increased, for she sees our miseries more clearly. St. Bonaventure teaches: “Great was Mary’s mercy toward the wretched on earth, but far greater is it now in Heaven.” St. Agnes told St. Bridget that no one prays without receiving grace through Mary’s charity. Even Jesus confirmed this to St. Bridget: “Were it not for the prayers of My Mother, there would be no hope of mercy.”
Blessed, then, is the one who listens to her instructions and imitates her charity: “Blessed is the man that hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.” (Prov. 8:34) St. Gregory Nazianzen assures us that nothing wins Mary’s heart more surely than love for our neighbor. Just as God commands: “Be merciful, as your Father is merciful” (Luke 6:36), so Mary echoes: “Be merciful, as your Mother is merciful.” Our own charity will be the measure of the mercy God and Mary show us: “Give, and it will be given to you. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)
St. Methodius reminds us: “Give to the poor, and receive paradise.” St. Paul affirms that charity blesses us both in this life and in the life to come (1 Tim. 4:8). And St. John Chrysostom beautifully concludes: “He who gives to the poor lends to the Lord, and makes God his debtor.” (cf. Prov. 19:17)
Our Values and Commitments

Ending Child Poverty Through Faith and Action
Love Mary is more than a name; it is a calling. Rooted in the love of Christ and inspired by the compassion of Mary, the mother of Jesus, Love Mary is a missionary movement dedicated to ending child poverty across the globe.
Today, millions of children wake up without food, without education, and without hope. Love Mary exists to change that. Through faith-led action, we provide practical support, spiritual guidance, and sustainable solutions that restore dignity and create opportunity for the world’s most vulnerable.
Our mission rests on three core commitments. First, Compassion in Action, where we meet urgent needs with food, shelter, clothing, and medical care, showing God’s love in tangible ways. Second, Breaking the Cycle, as we invest in education, skills, and community programs that lift families out of poverty and equip the next generation for a brighter future. And third, Sharing the Gospel, because we believe true transformation comes not just from material help but from the hope found in Jesus Christ, who said, “Let the little children come to me” (Matthew 19:14).
Love Mary is a global mission with a simple but radical vision: a world where no child is trapped in poverty and every child knows they are deeply loved—by God and by us. Because love is not just a feeling. Love is a mission. And Love Mary is that mission

Compassion in Action
We meet urgent needs with food, shelter, clothing, and medical care, showing God’s love in tangible ways.
Change a Child’s Life Through Education
Every child is born with God-given potential, yet for millions around the world poverty locks that potential away. Without access to education, children become trapped in cycles of hunger, struggle, and hopelessness, unable to see beyond the limitations forced upon them.
At Love Mary, we believe education is one of the most powerful tools to break those chains. A classroom is more than just a place of learning—it is where dreams begin to grow, where confidence takes root, and where the foundation for a brighter future is laid. When a child receives an education, they are far more likely to find work, earn a stable income, and support their families. In fact, the impact of one child completing school can lift an entire household out of poverty, creating ripple effects that transform generations.
Education also serves as protection. Without school, children are far more vulnerable to exploitation, child labor, or early marriage. But when they are enrolled and learning, they are safer, stronger, and better equipped to make choices that protect their futures. Education also builds communities: an educated child grows into a leader, a problem solver, and a light to those around them. The knowledge they carry multiplies as they share it, spreading opportunity and hope throughout their villages.
At the same time, we believe education must nurture both the mind and the spirit. That is why every child supported through Love Mary not only gains the gift of learning but also experiences the love of Jesus Christ. They discover that they are valued, created with purpose, and capable of incredible things.
When you support a child’s education, you are doing so much more than covering school fees or providing supplies—you are opening the door to dignity, opportunity, and hope. You are telling a child, “You matter. Your future matters. And God has a plan for your life.”
Together, we can write a different story. With every book opened, every lesson learned, and every prayer shared, we help children rise out of poverty into lives filled with promise. Support a child’s education today—because one simple act of love can change a life forever.

Breaking the Cycle

Together, we can break the chains of poverty and open the door to hope.
Every child deserves the chance to dream, to learn, and to grow into the person God created them to be. Yet for millions around the world, poverty steals away that chance—robbing children of education, safety, and a future filled with possibility.
At Love Mary, we believe faith in action changes everything. Through education, care, and the love of Christ, children are given more than just opportunities—they are given hope. A single act of compassion can lift an entire family, strengthen a community, and transform generations.
Join us as we put faith into motion. Together, we can give children the tools they need to rise above hardship, embrace their God-given potential, and live out lives filled with dignity, purpose, and joy.
